    Job Description
    Summary of Responsibilities:  This position is responsible for serving as a liaison with all the building trades that do work for the library; maintaining a contact list for repairs; and a tickler file to schedule regular maintenance for the building and the grounds. This position is also responsible for maintaining inventory of office and building supplies.
     
     General duties:
    • Maintains contact information for suppliers, contractors, etc.
    • Maintains schedule for regular maintenance and schedules regular maintenance visits such as pest control and backflow inspections 
    • Call various building trades when there is a maintenance problem inside or outside the building
    • Maintain a log of facility problems and repairs
    • Perform regular rounds of facility grounds and building to ensure routine maintenance is being performed inside and out
    • Maintain inventory of office and building supplies and place orders for library items requested by other staff members
    • Maintain accurate and complete facilities procedures manuals
    • Assist with developing and managing the facilities budget
    • Assist patrons, volunteers, and other staff members with all library activities, including, but not limited to: circulation tasks, telephone and reference work, computer instruction and troubleshooting
    • Other duties as assigned
    Schedule: This position will be scheduled for 40-hours per week. May require evening and weekend hours as needed.
