Purpose: RESCUE K.I.D.S. (Knowledgeable and Informed of Disastrous Situations) This action-packed week will empower our youth with the knowledge and abilities to act in an emergency AND disasters. Campers will walk away with certifications and TONs of resources! The camp will be entertaining and educational ensuring satisfaction from every student and parent. Participants will immediately become an asset to not only your family but also an asset to the communities we live in. The knowledge and life skills gained will empower and advance participants abilities to be hero AND possibly save lives!
Session Dates: March 14th -18th 2022
Session Hours: 9am until 2pm Early drop off and late pick up rates *$10hr
Food: Bring Lunch, snacks and water bottle. Water will be provided and refilled.
Attire: Wear clothes that will be comfortable bending, squatting and moving on the floor.
Activities: *First Aid & Stop the Bleed *Home safety and injury prevention *CPR and AED *Disaster Response and Emergency Management *FEMA’s Youth Preparedness Curriculum *Rescue Baby-Sitting curriculum
Discipline: All participants will be held responsible for his/ her actions. You will be informed of any behavior problem with your camper. Our staff will try to assist your child in correcting these behaviors by use of: positive rewards, verbal warnings, and revocation of special privileges. If these methods prove to be ineffective, the next step is suspension and/or termination from the program.
